Cincinnati City Council – The World Five Core Five

Cincinnati City Council – The World Five Core Five

With thirty five candidates running for the nine seats that make up the Cincinnati City Council, we thought it useful to name the five most important candidates to move our city forward. There are a number of good candidates, but we’re specifically focused on getting these five candidates elected. They have proven themselves to be engaged citizens who live with integrity, which is of course what we require. We don’t need council folks who enable developers and corporate interests to out weight the needs of we, the people of Cincinnati.

These five Cincinnati Council Candidates offer the best chance to move Cincinnati forward.

Of these five, only Jan Michele Keaerney is currently on council. Michelle Dillingham and Brian Garry were rejected by the Hamilton County Democratic Party though both are engaged locally and both are passionate about making Cincinnati a healthier and happier city. Kevin Flynn has been on council before, and has shown good judgment in balancing citizen needs with corporate interests. Evan Holt has never run for public office, yet his life experiences and solid ethics make him part of the World Five Core Five.

While there are other candidates of note, we do not find them as clear in their accomplishments and policies. Greg Landsman is a lovely man whose legislative record indicates undue corporate influence. Jim Tarbell is wonderful, but his many years on Earth make him less than ideal. We could go on…

And while Cincinnati has a nine member council, five make the majority and so here is our focus. Here are links to each candidates campaign website…
